Topology Optimization with Aperiodic Load Fatigue Constraints Based on Bidirectional Evolutionary Structural Optimization

Because of descriptive nonlinearity and computational inefficiency, topology optimization with fatigue life under aperiodic loads has developed slowly. A constraint method based on bidirectional evolutionary structural (BESO) an load is proposed in this paper. In view the severe damage respect to design variables, effective stress cycles are extracted through transient dynamic analysis. Based Miner cumulative theory requirements, a first quantified then transformed into problem. Then, normalized termination criterion by approximate maximum measured global using P-norm aggregation function. Finally, examples show that algorithm can not only meet requirements but also obtain reasonable configuration.
